JUMP START
Student Grant Program
The Spring Lake Schools Foundation is putting out a call to all student groups in the district for applications for their new Jump Start Program. The program is rewarding student groups that have ideas and enthusiasm and need a jump start to get going. This is not necessarily money to fully fund your projects, but enough to get your group started.
REQUIREMENTS
CRITERIA
Ideas must be well stated and explain how the grant would help your particular project. Grants will be judged on how many students are impacted as well as how the funds could get matched by the group’s own fundraising efforts. Preference will be given to ideas that benefit the student population. Judging will be done on a rolling basis by the Jump Start Committee of the SLSF Board of Directors and funds will be awarded until we reach $5,000. Awards will range from $100 to $500 however consideration will be given to larger requests if received.

Recipients have been notified for the 2014/15 school year. Congrats. Winner will be posted soon.

- Must be an official student club or group (excluding athletics) within the Spring Lake School District.
- Deadline for consideration is February 15, 2014. Applications will be evaluated as they are received (first come, first serve).
